§ 15.07. Failure of officers to perform duty.

  • If any officer of the City of Bristol, whether he be elected by vote of the people or by the council, or appointed by the council, by the judge of the circuit court or the city manager, shall intentionally refuse to perform any material duty required of him by this charter or by ordinance or resolution of the city council, he shall by reason thereof forfeit his office and shall be liable for all damages which may accrue to the city or any other person by reason of his failure or refusal to perform his duty.
